How the process works

  1. Scope — confirm equipment, location, and regulation.
  2. Examine — thorough examination/inspection by a competent Engineer Surveyor.
  3. Report — clear outcomes, defect classification, and re-examination intervals.
  4. Support — practical advice to help you close actions and stay compliant.

Need to know what applies?

Tell us what equipment you have and where it’s used. We’ll advise which regulation applies (LOLER, PUWER, WAHR, PSSR, COSHH/LEV) and what the typical examination interval looks like.

Tip: Include equipment type, quantity, site address, and preferred dates for a faster response.

LOLER Lifting

The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) require lifting equipment to be thoroughly examined at specified intervals by a competent person.

We provide clear defect classification, statutory outcomes, and practical recommendations.

PUWER Work Equipment

The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) ensure work equipment is safe for use, suitable for the task, and maintained correctly.

Focus areas include guarding, controls, safe operation, and documentation compliance.

WAHR Work at Height

The Work at Height Regulations (WAHR) apply to equipment used to prevent falls or provide access at height.

We inspect ladders, harnesses, lanyards, access equipment, and fall protection systems.

PSSR Pressure

The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR) require pressure systems to be examined in accordance with a Written Scheme of Examination (WSE).

We can produce WSE documentation (where required) and carry out statutory examinations.

COSHH (LEV) Air Quality

COSHH requires Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems to be thoroughly examined and tested at prescribed intervals.

Our LEV TExT inspections support exposure control and legal compliance.

Tanker Examinations Specialist

Powder and liquid tanker systems are examined under PSSR requirements to ensure integrity, safety devices, and operational compliance.

Hydrostatic testing can be witnessed and certified where required.
