Last updated: 29 July 2026

Our commitment

We want everyone who visits our website to be able to find information, request a quote, and contact us without barriers. We aim to follow recognised accessibility best practices and continually improve the site.

Standards we aim to follow

We aim to make our website conform as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, reminded that accessibility is an ongoing process and improvements may be made over time.

Accessibility features

We design our pages to support inclusive use. Features and considerations include:

Readable layout: clear typography and spacing for comfortable reading
Keyboard use: site navigation designed to be usable without a mouse
Focus indicators: visible focus states to help keyboard navigation
Colour contrast: we aim for good contrast between text and backgrounds
Responsive design: content adapts to mobile, tablet, and desktop
Plain language: we try to keep content clear and jargon-light where possible

How accessible is this website?

We work to ensure the website is accessible, however some content or features may not yet fully meet every accessibility requirement. If you encounter any issues, please let us know and we will do our best to help.

This statement applies to the main SISL website pages including service pages, the quote page, and the contact page.

What you can do

If you find the website difficult to use, you may find these options helpful:

  • Increase text size using your browser or device settings
  • Use a screen reader (e.g. VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)
  • Navigate using a keyboard (Tab / Shift+Tab / Enter)
  • Use high-contrast mode or dark mode (if available on your device)

Known limitations

While we aim for full accessibility, there may be areas we are still improving. Potential limitations can include:

  • Some images may not yet have fully descriptive alternative text
  • Some third-party components (if used) may not provide complete accessibility support
  • PDF or document uploads (if provided) may not be fully accessible depending on the source format

If you report an accessibility issue, we will prioritise improvements where reasonable and practical.
